Korver’s impact on Northwestern College was immediate and enduring. Over his 27-year tenure, he amassed an incredible record of 212 wins, 77 losses, and six ties, leading the Red Raiders to three national championships. Known for his commitment to excellence and ability to inspire players on and off the field, Korver became a cornerstone of Northwestern’s identity.

Korver’s leadership extended beyond wins and losses; he instilled values of perseverance, teamwork, and faith in athletes who played under him. In January 2025, Korver received one of the highest honors in college sports: induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. This recognition places him among legendary figures like Nick Saban and Ara Parseghian, highlighting his lasting influence on the sport.
